  • Directors details – you will need to provide their full names, occupation, postal addresses, residential addresses, shares allocation among others.
  • Company Details – company office location is required, if you don’t have one, you can use your home address. You will need to give the nature of your business (business activities), postal address (if you don’t have one, you can register one with Posta Kenya), company email address, phone number among others.
  • Proof Identity Documents – each director/shareholder will require to provide copy of ID, passport photo and copy of KRA PIN Certificate.

How long does Limited Company take to be registered?

1. Name search – 1-2 working days (Subject to Company Registry workload and working days)
2. Preparation of Form CR1, Form CR2 Memorandum, Form CR8 – 2 working days (Subject to your company requirements provided)
3. Company Registry – 5-7 working days (Subject to Company Registry workload and working days)

How many directors do I need to have in my company?

Company Registry only allows a minimum of 1 director and a maximum of 7 directors.
