Sunday Morning Prayer
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
God of mercy, full of grace and worthy of our praise, welcome us in Your presence this morning as we come before You with thanksgiving and praise. We Thank You for Your unconditional love. Thank You for loving us so very much that You gave us Your only Begotten Son. And we also thank You for giving us the Sacrifice of Mass, in which You continue to offer Yourself in the blessed Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.
Surround us with Your love this morning which saves, heals, and rescues us.
Today, may we receive Your love. Because of abandonment, we have been left to feel broken, of rejection, we have been left feeling unworthy.
Most gracious God, we ask that You may shower us with Your affection, embrace us with Your compassion and wrap Your loving hands around us, and give us Your reinsurance.
Through Your love, may we see Your kindness, goodness and mercy.
Lord, help men to be better husbands, women to be better wives, and also help us to be better parents, friends, and neighbours.
God of Jacob, through Your love, enable us to an extension of You, and help us to be a light that shines brighter to enrich Your place. May we to be a bridge for every person in need.
Forgive us for selfishness, help us to be better givers, to pray for one other. We want to be better servants of You, so we thank You for the day in You.
And we give You all of the glory, all of the honour, all of the praise and we thank You for Your love through our Lord Jesus Christ, and through His Mighty Name we humbly pray.
