Interviews for principals currently ongoing
Interviews for 30 positions for Principals, tenable at various KMTC campuses are currently ongoing.
The interviews that are being conducted by the KMTC Board of Management started on Tuesday 6th February, 2018, and are scheduled to end on Friday 9th February, 2018.
The advertisement for the positions ran from 4th December to 22nd December, 2017.
On the advertisement was for Garissa, Nyamira, Thika, Mombasa, Kapkatet, Vihiga, Siaya, Nakuru, Kisumu and Bondo. Others were Eldoret, Murang’a, Kaptumo, Homa Bay, Msambweni, Kilifi, Embu and Kisii.
Iten, Machakos, Molo, Kwale, Karuri, Kapenguria, Wajir Kuria, Bungoma, Mathare, Kang’undo and Mandera was also on the list.
The successful applicants are expected to have served for a minimum of 10 years as a lecturer of the College, and be at the level of at least Senior Lecturer. They must also hold at least a relevant bachelor’s degree. Those with a management course will have an added advantage. Successful candidates will also have demonstrated merit and leadership ability as reflected in work performance and results.
