Principals in Bungoma County have been reshuffled in a move approved by the Teachers Service Commission.
Among those affected in Bungoma County are principals from Friends School Kamusinga, Lugulu Girls, Cardinal Otunga Girls, Chesamisi High School, St Mary’s Kibabii Boys High School and St Luke’s Kimilili Boys High School.
TSC Bungoma County Director, Francis Odanga, said the move was an administrative one by the commission.
Mr Odanga said the move was in line with their duties and largely affected those who had stayed in a station for a long time.
“This is a regular move by the commission and nothing more. It largely targets those heads of schools that have stayed in one station for a long period of time,” he said.
Mr Edwin Namachanja of Friends School Kamusinga, has been moved to Maranda High School in Siaya County and will be replaced by Mr Alex Maina from Oloolaiser Boys High in Kajiado County.
Lugulu Girls Principal, Margaret Mechumi has been moved to Kisumu Girls in Kisumu County and will be replaced by Dinah Chebii from Moi Girls Kapsowar in Elgeyo Marakwet. See Also: KNUT rejects 2017 KCSE results
