Ms. Rosemary C. Saina, the immediate former Chief Principal of Kenya High School, is an educationist, having joined the teaching profession in 1981 as a teacher at Moi Girls High School, Eldoret.

She climbed the professional ladder from Head of Department at Moi Girls School, Eldoret to Headmistress at Solian Girls High School, Baringo, where she served from 1990 to 1991.

In 1991, Mrs. Saina was transferred to Kenya High School to serve as the Deputy Principal, a position she held until 1999 when she was promoted at first as Principal, then promoted to Senior Principal and finally retiring as Chief Principal in 2015 after successfully managing the school for 16 years.

Ms. Saina is an alumni of Moi Girls High School, Eldoret (formerly Highlands) and St. Joseph Chepterit Girls, Nandi. She holds an Executive Masters of Education degree from Moi University and Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree from the University of Nairobi.

Born on 28th July 1955, she has extensive training in educational management and leadership skills. She has also attended various workshops and seminars which have enriched her career in education.

Mrs. Saina has served in other fields in various capacities and has travelled widely. She was the National Treasurer, Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association between 2014 and 2015 and she has also participated in various community forums, projects and services. Her exemplary performance earned her state recognition and she was awarded Head of State Commendation in 2009.
